The Jessie Golden Earth Series
A few years ago the idea of writing a five-part saga suddenly popped up in Annelies George’s head. She planned to pass a strong message, as she was and still is very concerned about the current state of this planet and the way our lives are affected. This message had to be wrapped in a fiction story. All kinds of scenes and characters were spinning in headlines through her mind, while the actual story unfolded itself along the way.
The entire series centers around Jessie Golden, a Dutch journalist, and a child whose life destiny is closely related with the survival of the human race. It is also a tale about the friendship between two men, challenged by their ambition and their love for the same woman. When the negative energy dominating our world culminates into an Apocalypse, leaving only a few alive, the real challenge begins. With no such things as electricity, gas and Internet, a select group of people need to build new lives with the little they have.
Set in today’s ruthless business world, intertwining the dark secrets of the rich and famous with Jessie’s spiritual path, this fast-paced story will take you on an adventurous, mysterious, interesting journey that keeps you turning the pages for more. Unconditional love, betrayal, hate, ego, power and forgiveness are central themes throughout the saga, while each part in the series is marked by an unexpected twist.
At the moment two parts in the series are published: Quest to the Unknown (1) and Darkness and Light (2). The Prophecy: The 7 disasters before the final Apocalypse (3) is expected in second quarter of 2020.
